Hi, is there a DROP in speaker that will fit in the standard nissan bracket or is it a custom job (ie make up a fibreglass pod) to get aftermarket speakers in there?i can get new factory speakers in there but the factory ones are pretty average!

they are a 4x6 on a wide base. locally they do not exist. if you look overseas you can find them OR you do a 4" and a tweeter on a plate.

now if that is not enough the copy the panels onto a bit of MDF and make sure that you put the rear mount on both panels or you will lose the door pocket seal.

pretty easy to make up an adaptor plate out of mdf timber. you will get better sound by doing this. or alpine type s 4"speakers come with a 4x6 adaptor plate and are pretty cheap.

same as the fusion ones do. i often recycle those plates on other jobs.
