Hey guys,

I want to run my battery cable under the car as my battery is in the boot, I currently have the battery cable running through the interior but I do not like that so under the car it goes, just wondering where exactly to mount the cable to, I've purchase a set of push mount cable ties so my idea to begin with is to drill up into the floor of the car and run the cable which will be taped up then covered with corrugated tubing, just on the left next to the hard fuel lines. need to work on getting under the car to plan a route so it does no interfere with anything.

if anyone has another route to doing this or can recommend me some other ideas or constructive feedback of my idea that'll be great

thanks in advance.

One thing to consider is what happens if you drive over something that severs the fuel lines and the battery cable. You then have fuel and 12V exposed under the car, potential fire hazard!

I don't think running high current 12V next to flammable fuel lines is a good idea.

My battery cable and water/meth hose are cable tied to the plastic tube on drivers side just over a bit from the steel brake and fuel lines.

I inspected it a couple times after installation to make sure it wasn't rubbing anywhere. 8-9 years later it still looks perfect.
