Got a dump pipe and hi flow cat on there way to match my 3" catback setup.

Any tips on removing the stock stuff? ive heard the bolts can snap,

Guessing just soak them twice a day for a few days before doing it or or maybe get the engine warm and crack them while warm, then undo fully when cold?

For a R33 btw

Also, whats the torque spec for when i re tighten them?

Just soak it in wd40 the night before u do it and u will have no trouble. Stock dump is easy to get off, u can pretty much get to all the botls without a hassle, the bottom to u might have to go under the car and do it from the bottom

Don't do what I did the other weekend.... Removed them successfully (only been in there for 9 months or so) and then got a friend to put a top one in by hand while I held the dump/front pipe from underneath.

It got halfway in by hand and it got a bit tight, so he grabbed a ratchet spanner and started on it...

I soon realised it was way too tight and tried to back it out slowly with more wd40, but it snapped off :(

Had to call The Thread Doctor to come out and remove it like a sir.

TL;DR

Be Careful.
