out of curiosity mate, when its all done and ready to drive, will you be getting someone to check it out and make sure everything is fitted nicely etc? or are you 100% confident in your work? Would hate to take it for a drive and something go wrong. Just want to know what people do in that regard after such a big build. Either way, youve dont a sensational job mate, should think of doing this for $$$ for other people.

It's generally not a good idea to start a job you're not 100% confident about doing properly. Getting someone else to inspect the work done on this thing would be pretty fruitless, absolutely everything has been overhauled. If something hasn't been done right somewhere, the chances of someone else finding it are pretty slim.

Mate, seriously, stop it! Posting those piccies of your "undercarriage" are enough to make any grown man milk his baby wand till it runs dry and drops off!

Everyone is right, you shouldn't drive it! Keep this one in cotton wool then make another one that you can drive!

Haha

Damn that tidy under there, great work mate

Thanks!

So Jelly. Wish mine was half as clean.

What's the brace connected to the floor pan? Between the exhaust and tail shaft?

The costs in doing it right are outta control!! Brace is Jap gear

I believe that's part of the HKS Kansai Service or Nismo underbody brace set?

Not sure of brand

Sensational work Robbie. I can't say much more than dat!

Speaking of tune. Who's gonna tune this magnificent work of art?

Impossible to do all this myself mate! It's about knowing the right people and never giving up because you just can't understand how much work goes into something like this unless you have been there and done it.

Although I did most of the planning/organising and an absolute f#ck load of the work to get this done myself there is no chance it would be what is it today without the flawless guidance, boss skills and attitude, team of unreal mates/industry contacts and being all-round f#@cking legend of my mechanic.

Appreciate the feedback mate. And I would love to be doing this for others but I unfortunately very few are willing to spend the cash!

I concur, well said

Big update! Its sooo close! I'd be itching to turn that key! What still needs doing??

Key has been turned...

One word describes this car.... Yummmmmmmmm. Well done, you have put a lot of time and effort into her and the work speaks for itself.

Thanks heaps Jimmy, appreciate the feedback.

This build is incredible, if it were mine I'd never drive it, just keep it in the shed in a bubble

Cheers Brett! No way in hell that is happening, what's the point of putting thousands of hours into realising a dream just to look at it...?

Enjoy

Looking great mate!!

It's incredible to look at the underside of a car & think; "Crikey; those tyres sure are dirty!"

Amazing work, absolutely in awe of your patience & dedication. :worship:
