A mate of mine is interesting in swapping what he believes is a nismo edition r31 gts. What my concern is trying to find a definiate way of proving that its the real deal. It has the gts front bar with the GTS red logo, nimso sticker on the back. The bucket seats, 2door, rb20det etc etc.. Would my best bet be just obtaining the VIN number or will that still not prove it? Its the dark pearl blue color which i believe to be 1 of 4 colours that they were made in? It's a nice clean and straight car. Not being completely original will this comprimise price (like it usually does)

Hes only interested in swapping me for my vs 5spd maloo which i only price at around 6-7 grand anyway. But yeah any advice to try authenticate it would be extremely helpful

It's what to look out for but do what Aaron said by posing the VIN in the FAST Thread and you will get a definite answer.
