Identify My Strut Bar.

Greetings all.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what my Strut Brace is.

Not sure if it is anything special or just a brace.

I believe it was on the car when imported.

Take it off clean it up and remove the original sticker.

I have a new cusco sticker you can put on it

BTW - Looks like a Whiteline to me

Checked Whiteline & Ultrex out, it does look similar in some ways.

Not a smooth polished finish like the Whitelines but it is potentially 16 years old.

It seems to touch slightly on the bonnet liner which has scuffed the sticker a bit, maybe I'll just paint it black.

Interested to know what it really is though.

IMHO - take it off, take the sticker off and clean it up.

Use 800-1200 wet and dry (wet). then brasso or a metal polish or paint it black

Then if you want a nice sticker on it (Cusco) FOC

(no stamped brand anywhere in the red metal ?)

Had a good look over it and found no other writing. Maybe under the mount brackets?

Excuse me while I quickly whip out my Noob but, to take it off, do I need to jack the car up? or just unbolt it?

Finally got around to pulling it out. Couldn't see any real distinguishing marks on the mounts.

Removed stickers, sanded, Painted it matte black, also matte blacked my top intercooler pipe and crossover pipe. Looks Sweet !!! (someone say Cusco Sticker???) lol

I put in an ARC SMIC to replace my R34 SMIC which replaced my Stock R33 SMIC.

Not sure which of the 2 (R34 or ARC) is the better option.

any of them will be capable of 400kws. Choose the one you like.

Personally I'd use the ARC
