Hey Guys,

Need some help.

Last weekend me and a mate did a bosch 040 install in my skyline which went to plan.

Early this week i noticed a puddle under my car after parking it. I also smelt a heavy fuel smell

Opened the boot and undid the nuts to the pressurised lid above the fuel tank.

We accidently put a different hose clamp which was a little too tight on the bottom right hose. It now sprays a small amount of fuel when priming and accelerating.

I really dont want to drive it and die ;P so would like to replace the hose at home.

Can you please tell me;

Where does the bottom right hose from the fuel cap go?

How do i get to the end of it to replace the entire thing?

Cheers,

Ryan

hey mate i replaced that hose just recently. it's roughly half a meter long if that and runs underneath the car and clamps to a steel fuel line. ideally you would remove the whole fuel tank to replace these hoses but it is possible without removing the tank. just a bit fiddly trying to feed the new hose down under the car. make sure you get 'efi fuel' hose not a coolant or vaccum hose. i have seen this done before lol

Thats great thanks mate!!

How do i access it without taking tank out. from underneath the car?

Where can i get EFI hose?

Su

Got the hose. How do i get to the other end of the stock hose? Do i go under the car or take out the back seat?

suggest you run the car up on ramps or put on axle stands and take a look
