I am currently in the process of getting my BC Coilovers engineered on my R34 GTT to get rid of a defect sticker.

I have been asked to get a Suspension shop to write an official statement saying that my car's suspension has not been reduced by more than one third of that specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Since I have already removed the original suspension - does anyone know how to calculate this? Is there some factory measurements I can use to compare?

Thanks

I'm not sure, if it is helpful, but on TEIN website you can find manual instructions for most TEIN coilovers for GTT. There is listed ride height drop, which should be similar like in your BC.

Thanks Daan.

I just got told this from the engineer guy:

"Total suspension travel before modifications Current suspension travel after modifications. The two figures should show that the suspension was not lowered by more than 30% of the original."

Still confused. Might take it to a suspension place for clarification.
