So after leaving the sunroof ajar during the warm weather that has now come our way, the top of the sunroof blind is now delightfully covered in little flowers...

Just wondering if there is there a way to have the sunroof glass open (front one) with the blind closed so that it will be easier to clean, otherwise I will just have to fiddle around with the ant-eater like attachment for the vacuum cleaner and hope for the best.

Cheers

Hmm, I was hoping the engineers back in Japan would have considered this problem occurring during the Cherry Blossom Festival and making it possible to open the sunroof with the blind closed.

When I fixed my back sunroof, the easiest way to remove it was to remove the outer ring, undo the 4 philips head (2 each side holding plastic covers) and then undo the 6x10mm nuts and push it straight up. It's 5 minutes or less work and it also allows you to clean places that never get cleaned. Yours is the front so I have taken a photo just to show.

Hope this helps !
