Throttle behaves however you want it to behave.

There is table in there that you can adjust so that any tiny bit of pedal means full throttle. Obviously you don't want that, but it's the example.

That being said, uprev provide some values in a little switch box, and seems the best option.

Make sure they also bring the thermos on sooner in the map, good for the motor and power.

Thread is useless without results!

Apologies for the late reply everyone. Car is now running sooo amazing.

Started of running around the 150rwkw (running really rich, and was fixed by a MAF clean) Base line was then achieved of 161.8rwkw. After this then tuned for 3rd and 4th gear (being 6MT) Dyno charts show the improvements. Overall the final chart showed gains of up to 50nm of torque (main aim) and 10-15rwkw) So after working it out I saw 10% power increase and 15% torque gain.

All I have done so far is a Takeda Short Ram intake, and a custom "catback" with a hotdog resonator through to twin outlets (with small mufflers). Soon to come will be pulleys, plenum spacer, ceramic coated headers new custom high flow cats and Y pipe and eventually some BC high lift cams.

Took it for a spin up Nebo and Glorious today, even in the mid 30's it pulled sooo much better and the throttle response has improved immensely. All in all. 10/10 for customer service through ECC and definitely worth every cent.

Vid of the run.

Thanks mate, im stoked. I got it as a discounted rate as I was informed that I was the first customer to use their UpRev software. I think they have a couple more spots left for a $500 rate, then it will go up to the normal rate which is 990 i think.

I bought an UpRev tuners package about a year ago and got a tuner to give it a go. Might try East Cos tCustoms to give it a retune, see if they can get better results. I get around 171KWs as an 5AT, but my modlist seems a little bit bigger than yours, although you are a 6MT.

That is impressive, i am loving the feedback ECC's customers are giving it makes me want to be in Brisbane even more now!

For $500, that's is excellent value for money considering how impressed you are of the results.

Good stuff!

I have fairly similar mods to your Sheldon and mine makes 184rwkw (on a very conservative Mainline dyno) with just an SAFCII. I would definitely get yours retuned.

Will look into it, just have to weigh up if its worth it since im still trying to sell.

Not wanting to steal the thread, but I am not 100% on that for all models;

Am 99% certain my manual coupe has an open diff and uses the brakes to prevent wheel spin/oversteer (even with traction control disabled)

Anyone got a good way to check?

Brake LSD?

The manual V35 uses a viscous unit Inside the diff, like the 350z.

Jack up the car with both back wheels off the ground, release the hand brake and ensure it is in neutral, turn one wheel, if the other wheel turns the same way, you have an LSD, if it turns the opposite way you have an open diff.

You can also just jack up one wheel, with the handbrake off, and in neutral, the one wheel off the ground will be difficult to turn, unlike an open diff, which doesn't offer much resistance.

    • If you like how loud the car is now a resonator behind that mid muffler should help with drone and not effect the volume much I've added resonators to a few aftermarket exhausts before specifically to reduce drone, volume really never changed, but cabin noise hwy cruising was much improved......with great success
    • Well, that's why I left Shannons. First they made us pay the excess after a taxi hit the z when it was parked. We supplied the rego and police report, they didn't feel any responsibility to find the owner and would not pay for the repair until we paid the excess.  Then our house (insured with Shannons) was broken into, and the safe containing spare keys for 9 cars was stolen. Shannons tried to tell us that as well as the house excess we had to pay the excess for each car to key them rekeyed (ie almost $10k in excesses for one theft event). They backed down on that after we went through the ombudsman but we left them after that.
    • Am guessing the "steering wheel shroud/cover" you're after is actually the steering column shroud?
