Hi guys,

Just wondering who has the BC coilovers on their v35 coupe?

Would you be able to advise how they are when fitted?

Looking at getting a set now although a guy I spoke to at a shop that sells them says he was advised by bc that on a stock wheel once lowered at maximum would still be a 2 finger gap between guard and wheel? Is this true, answer is quite vague. Just wanted to know whoever has these how low you could go with the bc coilover? Also wanted to know is there any difference between rubber top mounts and pillow mounts? Cause there are two types of bc coilovers one is RS and the other RA!

Any insiders would be fantastic! Thanks guys

You will not regret getting these coilovers, they are one of the most reputable coils on the market.

Given that stock wheels are the 17s or 18s? if they are the 17s then he's probably right.

With these coils you can dump it frame on the ground or raise it 4x4 spec. No idea about rubber or pillow mounts.

Yea I think it should be flush with 19" wheels so I guess it'll be fine...I've been doing research and alot of people seem to rate it well and for the price...I guess it a bang for buck product....is 1350 a decent price?

BC does have a good rep for adjustability and ride - but there are always horror stories if you so a quick google. On the most part I have read good things. Example, I was looking for coilovers for my e39 BMW and all the M5 owners said BC was best, even over bilstein and KW.

But every car has different valving requirements and they might nail one car and miss with the setup on another.

I would buy them - the pricing is good. Only thing I'd suggest is that Pedders and Tein are the only ADR approved coilovers, and also the only coilovers that can bbs readily rebuilt.

Beyond that, rubber mounted bearings in thw top hats are definitely what you want for the street. Pillow mounts are noisy and crash about - race use only.

I have them in my sedan and im on 20/30mm ground clearance with OX racing japan front and rear bracing and soon whiteline adjustable sways, best money spent. Also you can go up spring ratrings ive been told to 12f/10r (up from 10f/8r) withouith having them revalved. When i was in this boat everyone said BC for bang for ya buck, never looked back.
