so i have a front mount intercooler and when i boost up its quite evident that my a/c gets warmer, due to the fact the hot compressed air in the intercooler is stealing the cold air before my condenser. i no the obvious fix (remove the fmic) but i want to know

will twin electric thermo fans make that much of a difference to the air flow?

has anyone had experience in this area?

are there even any kits out there?

if anyone has them how have you set them up?

all advise will be appreciated.

cheers :)

p.s r34 gtt rb25det using a blitz return flow front mount, gtrs turbo on 1.2ish bar

When throttle is planted the compressor turns off to give you more power and not stuff the compressor bearings too no doubt.

Turn it off if your nailing it repeatedly as the compressor clutch will will slamming in/out at full noise

yeah the a/c is nice and cold just idling and cruising, i would like it to be colder so i have to check the pressures and get a thermometer on me air vents, it doesnt get hot when upping it just not as cold, feel a change. and on a hot day it sucks. and the boosting is on short stints lasting one gear or so driving around town as such, taking off from lights ect. but its a black car, dealing with 36deg days a humidity (love central queensland), but yeah its just that difference when i give it some. but sounds to me i have to deal with it because of the front mount, so more vent sounds like the go?

I've used my A/C while at the track on 35C days and it was cold as it would be while driving about. But I do notice as I climb up the revs, the air gets warmer until 7k (pretty much full warm), then I enter a turn and exit and it's cold again. So I can confirm the A/C turns off at WOT.

I actually just notice my a/c electric fan doesn't work when the a/c is on. Is there more requirements it needs to turn on or should it be working??? And I also notice the condenser has had lines blocked off because of a dint. So without checking pressures I'm confidient where a leak is if I put dye in the system. If its even leaking. But main issue is that electric fan should be going yeah??

It doesn't switch on unless the coolant temp is approx 95C+, I can't remember if this is true if the A/C is switched on (or if the A/C runs the fan regardless of coolant temp) .
