So my mate is driving my, then mint, R33. Going for a nice cruise and spun out on a roundabout. He caught it well but not well enough, ended in a barrier. When we assessed the damage its not too horrible, the rear right panel is badly dinted and it stops just after the wheel arch, nothing on the door and just a small scratch on the front right panel.

Will post a pic later.

Just wondering if anybody has a recommended panel beaters as I don't know any myself. As far as the car goes mechanically it seems to be running fine, the wheels are straight and the only real damage I could think of would be the fuel tank? Any help would be appreciated want my baby back on the road asap haha.

Thanks.

My mate was driving because I was trying to be responsible and not drive (Suspended license). Lesson learnt.

Thank you, I will check these places out today.

Anyway here's a photo.

Lol nah that's the s15 from jdmst that tried being a sick flamin mongrel. He sick flamin mongreled himself into a cafe wall lmao

That's the one ;)

Wonder what happened to him, didn't the cops end up getting involved? Such a troll, acting out on a meet.

Nah he's just copping a punch to the wallet, went and got a quote, $1800 they said.

Haha he was in tears, I just couldn't help but laugh.

And yeah not too bad, just a spray painter friend said it might be more around the $4000 mark, which had me a bit stressed.

Rear bar replace/repair

Rear bar reo (maybe)

Dent remove & fill rear 1/4 where all the damage is (looks like it goes further that the pic shows)

Tail light surround/mount (maybe)

Paint/Blend down the door/boot/rear bar/wing/tail light surround/1/4 panel

People seem to think bodywork costs nothing but you run a shop @ $80/hr labour you'll easily see $600 (7.5hrs and that's disassemble, repair, prep, paint, assemble etc) before you even buy any parts or add in consumables etc :)

$1800 sounds reasonable for all of the above really. I'd be expecting over 2k as a starting point.

Bro my cuzzin could fix that in his backyard for $400 and a slab of woodstock.

If you want it to look like a car after its fixed though, take it to a reputable shop with a good track record with skylines and paint.
