Hey all this is my first post so don't, let me know if I'm doing it wrong.

Iv just bought a series 2 r31 silo with a rb25det conversion done by previous owner. Apart from the hell dodgy install job the cars sweettt.

I went to remove the monster tacho and rewrite the stock one when I ran into a problem. The monster tacho is getting its signal from the 120* degree crank angle sensor which works fine. Iv read you can get the tacho working by using pin 7 being the tacho signal wire from the ecu and a resistor wired correctly... However my ecu doesn't have a wire coming from pin 7.

Is there a way to use the crank angle sensor wire to power the stock tacho? as I am unsure of the frequency they both run at..

Thanks everyone.

R31 club needs an paid email account to register and I'm not buying an email account just for a tacho haha.

And I haven't got a wire coming from pin 7 or the female conecter so that diagram won't help either, thanks for the effort though.
