290/295 cams with .453 lift

spool rods

20" over bore pistons

11.63 compression

dual valve springs

roll master timing chain and sprockets

GTRsean special modded sump.....yet to be proven.

the original flywheel has gone from 7.25kg to 5.5kg.

exedy heavy duty clutch.

electronic optical ignition conversion, using 7M coil.

Oh and these engines are single cam, pushrod, non crossflow alloy head.

Cam will be on from 3500 to 7500RPM from memory. Can't go over 8000 for long periods of time as the blocks tend to crack haha....

Considering that the standard 5K that was in it put out 47 RWKW with the carbs slapped on and the existing 4 into 1 headers....I'm scared.

Still no brake or suspension upgrades yet......how not to do up a car, but makes you feel more alive :woot:

When you said heavy duty clutch I imagined 2 bits of brown bread rubbing together!

Can't wait to see/hear the new motor up and running. Will need moar handling for sure!

close, it's slipping already. acts like a turbo but with none of the power. I am trying to organise it to be freighted from Sydney to Brisbane.
