Hey,

Bit of an unusual request BUT I'm looking for someone who is relativley local to me who has a hi-flowed turbo from Hypergear on their R33 GTS-t.

Not fussed whether it's a R33 turbo that's been hi-flowed or a R34 turbo that's been hi-flowed, as long as it's on a manual R33 GTS-t.

Basically, I'm putting my car back to stock (under bonnet appearance wise anyway) so would like to know how responsive and how much kick these hi-flows have first-hand.

I'm happy to reimburse you for your time with petrol money or lunch or whatever. Otherwise, happy to take you for a spin in my GTS-t if money and food doesn't appeal to you :)

Cheers.

Ahhh I see. Well the car will be returned to look stock under the bonnet and then getting sold so not sure if I want to shell out the extra coin for the SS1.

Only reason I'm doing this is apparently it's impossible to get a RWC with a modded car, even if the brakes, tyres, lights etc. are all in perfect condition. So going for the stealth look so would be easier to sell with a RWC.

Yeah, I've toyed with that idea Birds but was hoping to appeal to prospective buyers who wanted soemthing with a bit more poke than standard. Will more than likely be looking for a second hand hi-flowed turbo though, provided I find it responsive enough :) how local/un-local are you from Berwick Birds?

Baahahaaha this guy! Thought it was a new brand of turbo I've never heard before hahaha

Here is what an SS1PU does

I have it inside the standard comp housing. Awesome, awesome turbo. They cost a fair whack more than your average high flow though. My car isn't a fantastic demonstration vehicle - it loses traction in 3rd, 2nd is useless and 1st is irrelevant.

Heya,

Yeah we've met... I bought your BBS rims a few weeks ago :P

Highflowed R34 OP6 by Hypergear, currently making a conservative 244rwkw with nice smooth response. It's not going to throw you back in your seat like a laggier turbo would, but you glance at the speedo after a quick squirt and you remember why it was a good choice.

Hotside was in about a dozen pieces when you dropped the rims off though, so wouldn't have been able to take you for a spin...

BUT....

It's all back together now and just retuned.... I'm going to going to Cranbourne on Saturday Afternoon to test drive a car for/with my sister... Let me know if you want to meet me somewhere.

Can drop your sister off at my house whilst you go with Turbodragon

Already?!

Might need some external gate, moar boost and e85 in the future lol

Then again maybe not.

Found out my manifold was cracked last night :(
