I've got the old one of and got the new one but having trouble fitting it... Yes I have the right one... If anyone has any knowledge please help me out

You would be wise to set the bronze bush on a block of timber on your bench, lube the ball on the tip of the gearstick with a bit of grease, then a solid whack on the end gearstick (remove gearknob) with a decent sized hammer, will pop the new bush on to the ball.

Let us know how the bush goes, I saw them the other day and wondered if it was worth getting

I think the slop in mine is from the Ball it rotates on (or rather the plastic bush it sits in) around the middle of the shifter but

The bushing goes great! Once you get it all fitted up it feels really tight! But once you drive it.. It is amazing! No sloppiness at all!

Did you notice any vibrations or extra noise? I have the bush but havent put it in, dont want any noise or vibration because its street driven

Hi-jacking the thread... Gktech only has the bush for r33 gtr shifter. Will this bush fit on the r33 gtst?

no mate, the gtr has a much smaller bush...

a new bush from nissan is only 14 bucks, feels good when new... ive had many ..keep smashing them off been too nasty while racing hahaha :)

I got the same bushing. It was an absolute prick to get on as well. Makes for a little smoother shift. Had mine for nearly a year I'm guessing.

Notice any exta vibrations or noise from having a solid bush instead of plastic?

I've got one sitting here, but not sure if I should use it

No vibrations or issues at all with mine. I'd say its worth the stuffing around to put in :D I think I mounted mine on a vice somehow and gave it a few love taps.
But my memory is coming back to me now. As that little ball is so tight to get on in the first place, I found it had actually expanded the brass a little and I had to sand some of the brass down so it would actually fit back into the gearbox. But safe to say I don't think it'll ever be coming out again.
