Next is the track day at Sandown with the WRX Club on the 22nd (Though it seems that its mostly SAU entering it, lol), followed by drinks at the Belgium Beer Garden on St Kilda Road.

Early Jan there will be a thread which has the 2013 events schedule :)

short of it is we have not finalized it.

what will def happen.

there will be decas. exact dates not determined but first is usually in feb or march

Motorsport championship, we are waiting on tracks to release calendars for us to work out our plans.

there is a Go Kart day in Jan but is members only.

Plans are afoot for the annual dyno day

there is talk on where our longer cruises will go next year, be it GOR, Bullar, mt macadon or somewhere altogether diffrent.

atm there will be an interstate excursion for Nats later in the year as well.

End of year SnS naturally

Bunch of ppl will be heading up for WTAC now that dates announced.

plus the usual monthly meets and such.

so just a couple things ;)

that said we are always open to suggestions so if there things you can recommend it can only make the club better.

reminder tho a bunch of these are members only so well worth signing up:

$70 is less than a slab of jd. Your $70 goes a hell of a lot further with SAU VIC than a slab I can tell you.

If you want to run at Sandown or PI. SAU VIC is one of the most cost effective CAMS clubs to join. You cannot get on to timed days at these tracks without a l2s and club membership.

You don't have to be a member or have a CAMS license for DECA.

You spend more than that on a tank of fuel...

As John said - things like admin costs, liability insurance (for all the events), free BBQs, subsidies on Merch and entry costs to events.

Add to that with the member discounts, that on just a single translation, could save you more than $70... :merli:

SAU-Vic is one of the cheapest CAMS Affiliated club in the state (affiliation costs money, fact of life). Most are $100+

70 joining fee plus 50 renewel is a bit steep. cannot justify it at all

you going to have non sau member events?

considering our Insurance (same as all clubs) only covers members....

we do run some open events eg the monthly meets, but if you want to be in the cruises and such members only.
