Finished up all bits and pieces for the tune on monday.

Eliminated 3 switches by hooking stuff up properly.

I hope they dont have to fix too much of my work.

I was trying to fix problems before giving it to them, i dont want to give them problems.

Anyway ill post dyno results when done.

Hanging out for a drive, it been off the road a while now.

Oh no, it wont go. Im getting a tow truck there.

New fuel pump, bigger injectors, z32 afm, means it wont run before a tune.

Not to mention the timing would be out (new timing cover, no marks), and the cam gears may need a slight adjustment.

but when i get it back.......... :D

Do you have the Nismo clutch? Because if you do - I hate you !!

Nah not really. I had difficulty getting one in a hurry so I have gone for something else.

I needed one this week not in 2-3 weeks time.

They're going for a great price $1700 from OS delivered to Aus :woot::woot: , but those shops who have them in Aus are still asking $2400 to $2700  Damn rip off merchants !!

The twin coppermix was my first choice :(. After reading I would now go the Competition one

Install is half to full day depending on shop. DIY :yes: .

I haven't done one so I'd be in the same boat as you (need someone who has and the equipment. Definitely need it lined up too).

Should be ready to pick up tomorrow afternoon.

For everyone else - keep an eye out. Because if you need one I may be organising a GB...soon

I bought mine a week ago give it about 3 weeks i told them to put a fake sticker so that i do not get charged duty for it. Ill take pics when it arrives.

DIY?

You need:

To take the flywheel to get machined, so if they cant do it straight away it holds up the job.(machining takes about 1/2 hour)

Compressor and rattle gun to get it off.

and the usual jack, stands, tools, etc.

I have an alignment tool if you need it, standard nissan 24 tooth, works for gtst.

Mine was an utter utter bastard, as theres not much room and you need to sort of twist and push and lift to get it in.

GTR may be better with clearance but will for sure be heavier.

Recommend getting a mate to help with the wrestling.

The benefits of DIY are you can take the time to do a perfect job, double check it and sleep well.

The new kits come with a new flywheel which is awesome could save yourself some bucks and time. Not sure how much it osts anyway to get it machined

Im getting a tow truck there.

but when i get it back.......... :D

going to pick my toy up today - 314.5kw on 20 psi.. thankyou to ed at autotech

Any news on these guys?

Picked up mine today, new clutch in :D

It will take a little getting used to as it's a lot lighter than the OS Giken. Stalled it leaving

Got most of the way home and then had to stop at one of the big circles. Thought to myself don't stall it, don't stall it so kept the revs up, release clutch

Traffic coming on from my right must go now .....

Ended up launching and chirping through 1st/2nd.

reminder to self - must NOT launch hard or often with new clutches (as it is no good for them, bed in properly)
