honestly i find it sooo relaxing. I don't view it as cleaning it. I view it as general maintenance. It has not had a full clean in a long time as it's been going in and out of the shop. So when i get it back im going all out. It will finally get the attention it deserves!

Will research.

Would think perhaps a chemical and rotating wire brush with facemask (to stop chemical splatter and help not breathing in checmicals)

Depending on the size of the area needing stripping.

Give one of the Smash repairers/paintshops a call

Dunno if Paint Stripper would work? But you can get a gel paint stripper that clings better than a liquid. 1 Litre was less than $20 at Bunnings... maybe even under $15.

For our XY, dad and I just used a heat gun and a scraper... Really easy, really simple and quite quick.

We did it a few years ago now but I think all I did was warm up the area, then hold the heat gun at the base of the scraper then scrape. Just make sure that there is no angles which can make the heat come back onto you... I learnt that the hard way :P

Washed the girl today. Re-blacked all wipers and cowl cover, added some mad angle to that gtr wing. Quite a productive day if I do say so myself. Oh how I love weekends :D

Especially long ones
