Nice work Chris! Is it a Bellmouth? Guessing you didn't break any bolts?

Yeah its a bellmouth. Jacked the car up last night and started spraying the wd40 every half hour. Must have had about 4 or 5 rounds and then a couple more this morning. Only took a ring spanner to break it and then fingers the whole way. I was pleasantly surprised after reading about some peoples nightmares... My struggles was with getting the cat mount to go around the new front pipe as it was a fair bit fatter then the stock system.. Had to get dad involved and he angle grinded part of the bracket out for me so that it fitted around the pipe. Once we had that sorted it was time to put it back together

Nice work you've done also :D

In fact it sounds like a few people have been busy bee's over the past few days..

Richard getting his hands dirty with an oldy but a swifty ;)

Ahh yes i remember grinding the mount.

The bellmouth is ok to fit, the jjr stainless split dump is a real pain because of less clearance and access to the nuts/bolts.

Like those ones on the engine side are a pain.

Anyway, good it went on easy.

John actually modded my JJR Bellmouth for ease of bolting.

(Heated up and hammered in the sides of the Bell a little) and he ended up just Welding the mount to the pipe.

Installed rear vision cover last night. Looks amazing. Also installed new Strut brace, it took a bit of love to get it on but it went on.

PICS???

is it just me or do you have a new photo in your sig everyday ?

thanks a ton man! she`s getting there :)

that chook is awesome haha, it jumps the fence and plays with my little border collie, the puppy is somewhat scared of it haha

Last time I saw a Chook, (only a couple of days ago) it got it's head chopped off with an axe.

True Story.

Both Skylines are COVERED in a really fine Mist of Sap. :(

sounds like sandpaper when you wind the window down.

Today I did not much car wise other than pull off the passenger side mirror on the Wags and superglue the broken bolt mounts as they are all broken. :(

    • I believe there was a similar one posted by @duggyphresh. They were re-routing their battery positive cable in the way I am also trying to achieve. Sorry, I’m new to this forum, so was a bit late to the party by a few months and so reignited the old thread, as I wanted to know how they got on with doing it.
    • Wasn't there a thread on this very subject just a few weeks ago?
    • Hi all! Looking to relocate the battery to the trunk of an R34 GTT. I want to do it using as many stock GTR components as I can (including the harness protectors from the 34 GTR that run underneath along the chassis to the engine bay). So far I’ve purchased the battery tray from a 33 GTR, as the captive weld nuts are already there just asking to be used. There is also the slight issue of now having to relocate the ABS/TC/Fuel Pump Control ECU, which in GTT’s sits right above where the battery will then sit on the tray. Has anyone already achieved this, and if you have any pics that you wouldn’t mind sharing? It would be great to see how others have done it and where you put them, as there are countless holes in the parcel shelf panel to potentially use. Just trying to get some ideas bounced around, and to help uncover any potential problems I may encounter by  my choice of location. TIA for any help!
    • Brand was ard.   I also threw a brand new battery at it and beefed up the wire from the alternator to battery and added an extra earthing point from the battery
