Got it Anfanee. It has the top tab missing by the looks of it :(

I'll leave it within reach in the garage. It maybe better than the one you have

Thanks Richard will have a look at our next chat

Make up your mind

I do a lot of ks per week and also like knowing when empty is empty and that my fuel gauge and light are accurate. When I get a new car I flush the entire fuel system twice with new filters. I'll drive around normally until I get low. I'll then got to my spot where road is dead flat and do laps till I get a sign that its near empty.

I then pull over fill up with the jerry can and reference the gauge point and always stay above it as a safeguard point. I change the fuel filter too again.

Its not necessary but that's what I do.

Pat I just put in a new filter after nearly 2 years and put through injector cleaner as well.

Should I now be changing the filter again and possibly run another flush through it?

Car feel a lot smother now after the injector cleaner.

Yeah should use a new filter for flushing, and a new one after.

Okay sweet I might go pick up another filter.

Wish I had something to cut the old one open to see how dirty it is

Have a hacksaw if you wanna swing by.

I cut my orginal one open from the 33. It was dirty but alot better than I thought.

I find that temperature affects the gauge reading too so it's not always accurate.

I'll maybe swing by this weekend if I don't head to Sydney

going to sydney to pick up car?

Family things and hopefully the car as well.

Still haven't heard back from Iron Chef about it though.

Emailed last week and they said they will look into it for me, Emailed again yesterday and haven't heard anything.

Just sent them a message on facebook to try find out.

Ordered CV boot, caster rod bushes and went with adjustable control arm bushes....

Still thinking about those braided lines

Got quoted $65 for a steering rack boot.....genuine Nissan items but still a tad $100 more for some cheap universal ones.

I'll see what super cheap has to offer.
