Rogue Heater - Cabin Temp Out Of Control

Hey guys,

i've had my r32 GTR for about 4 months now... and loving it! I do however have a slight issue with the ac/heater. even with the AC off, i have stupid amounts of hot air coming through the foot vent... bearable in winter if its <10c; however, anything over, windows MUST be down and its pretty uncomfortable, i just put up with it, but i needn;t comment on female passengers opinion.

how the hell is the vent blowing so much hot air with the ac off? (ac needs re gassing but thats another thing completely) any ideas?

Turn the aircon on. Make sure temp is at 18 degrees then turn it off.

Leaving the heater on 32 degrees will still pass hot air through when switched off.

i find on my 33 it does the same thing, my temp control doesnt change have to fix it,

but it wont allow hot air in if i make sure i have the recirculate button on

dunno if it would be the same as yours though

Thanks Luke, ive tried that though. (and ac not gassed so blows hot air regardless of temp set )

i have not tried turning it off with the recirculate function set prior to switch off.. ill see if that does anything

You can turn the recirculation button on while the aircon/heater is turned off, it will stop passive air from coming from the vents.
