I can make you a bleed valve for about $20 and send it to you then just T it into the line between the turbo and the wastegate.

What it does is bleed off excess boost and stops the wastegate openign as soon and thus allowing more gas onto the turbine wheels and there for makes more boost.

For my boost i just disconnected the bottom hose on the boost solenoid and fitted a hose connector off a sprinkler system, then modified the size of the hole the air leaked out off. all up this cost me 50 cents and my boost is set at 10psi and never spikes, mind you i haven't done anything to my engine apart from exhaust and pod filter, maybe different for highly modded engines?

Yeh I use a bleed valve on mine with a different actuator as well that is heaps stiffer than the vg30 one. mine is filtered and also has a one way valve attached but really isn't necessary as it will not suck in that much air. I just wanted everyone to know that it is possible to distort fuel maps when fitted. I have a safc so it really doesn't matter anyway lol

Isn't it different for an R33? You are talking about an R32 right? I thought with an R33 you do the same thing but with the line to the boost solenoid...?

On a R33, its best to bypass the boost solenoid altogether. So tap the bleeder into a line going from intake piping (compressed side) to wastegate.

Also, for us non-fuel computer guys, it might be a good idea to recirculate air thats being bled off. That way, the ecu isn't fueling for air that isn't there and the engine doesn't run rich(er).

I have installed the valve in the line fromthe wastegate to air inlet pipe and have disconnected the solenoid valve, adjusted it up so my standard guage is nearly 3/4 now..approx 9psi..Made a nice difference in performance although i almost feel it cuts in a bit early....How far can l go safely..any suggestions....Considering +7 = 13.4psi..:burnout:
