Venom 100 cell Cat with 5' body with 3' flange because..................well because the car will benefit from it and I will reveal more in due course

thats it for now folks but stay tuned for more updates very soon :)

the passion

the thing I like about your resto/build is not settling. There is always something that needs fixing or bettering

if your like me you stand in front of your 32 and think that's not quite right I'll fix it. Or it would be better with .....

Sometimes just the little imperfections like the rear wing replacement rubber and rust proofing. I've done that but I'm sure a lot just let it go

the passion to make it the best you can and improving things over time (money and time permitting)

then going back over and making it even better still. Even with Robbies build (an ultimate one) he's still making it better

it never really ends and that's a good thing.

The things may get smaller and sometimes cheaper but even keeping it maintained is never ending

I don't ever think I'll park mine and think - That's it ! ..........I'm certain most with the passion would agree

To ever sell would be the worst due to the investment on all levels.

Kids leave (and sometimes a wife) but the GTR......NEVER........lulz

spot on mate.

Thats me in nutshell and the passion I have for this car is really more like a love affair (ha! so gonna say this to my beautiful wife now lol)

I'm very much a perfectionist and although I have an eye for detail I never intended to make my car just a show pony.

I always wanted to build the car with track work in mind but to also retain its drive ability but also have some looks to go with it

Building the GTR has always been a dream for me and to finally have the opportunity to realise this has been amazing

What is equally satisfying is sharing it with other enthusiasts like you and so many others

I have learned a lot already and keen to learn even more.

As research and technology improves I think there will always be something improve or to do with such cars.

As long as I have the spark and passion for this I will continue this project for as long a possible

Well said S!n. So true.

Good choice on the suspension Ants :D Cant wait to see whats next.

Oh Ants just a heads up. I have the same POD filters as you and you can get the filter element in blue. Makes it look heaps better. I think i got mine from nengun.

sweet. I've been looking for replacement ones too

Will take a look see

Nice job Ants. This build just keeps getting better :)

I noticed that you've got the Tomei Ti sustem on your car. How do you rate it? Do you think it's too loud? I was thinking of getting one for my car but I didn't want something that is too noisey.

Cheers

Chris

thanks mate.

The tomei Ti is sweet and yes its certainly louder than my old mandrel bent 3'in system but I like the noise.

It can be however, very drony after a long drive around the mountains lol

    • There’s a possibility that Infinity G35x front hubs may be compatible, but it depends on the exact fitment. Sometimes, parts like hub and bearing assemblies from different models can work if the bolt patterns, bearing sizes, and axle specifications match, but the G35x hubs typically have a different design. It's worth checking detailed specs (like the number of bolt holes, size of the axle shaft, and bearing diameter) to compare, as Rock Auto does list some parts that cross over across different models. If you're going for a pre-pressed hub and bearing unit, that could be a good option. These units are usually easier to install, as the bearing and hub come pre-assembled, but you’ll still need to verify fitment, especially the outer diameter of the hub and bearing dimensions.
