Boot Brake Light Not Working

Hi there, I have a 1997 pulsar N15 sedan and just reliased that the boot tail light isnt working, The light is a strip and has individual bulbles so I know that isn't the case and also I have already checked the fuse so as far as I am aware thats fine to, so would this mean it's possibly some form of wiring issue?

Pretty sure the bulbs are individual LEDs, normally if one dies, the rest keep going so I'm thinking perhaps it's a wiring issue. Check and clean the plugs where it connects to the wiring loom with some contact cleaner, also check for any broken wires or frayed insulation on them.
