Great too see everyone down at the track. We had some logistical issues with trophies and food on the day. But we plan on making that up in the new year, so stay tuned.

Great photo's!

Anyone with in-car video

Doh, one time my misses comes down, plus actually gets in the car - go pro was set to ONF so missed capturing her asking me to slow down on the warm up lap!

Wife/son loved the event so big thanks to the organisers for risking/organising a different type of day.

Didn't get much time to talk as i was loving the chance to ride with others, experience 4 wheel power down etc - highlight has to be ride with Silkgod - Paul it was awesome even at 80%, thanks.

wtf richo!! i'm freakin out about being black flagged for taking turn 1 too hot etc and you're gallavanting around sideways!! hahahahah :D - i guess they know you, how you can drive etc...

Was a brilliant day combining social and motorsport together, great concept :) SAU should definitely have a crack or perhaps get WRX club to do more days like it.

I was garaged next to Henry from Cosmic Performance? (Cosmic was at least in the name) - really nice guy, always helps having a tuner right next to you :D - had a boost controller question with my EVC, jumped in, beep beep beep, all done and fixed :) Also went passenger in his standard WRX but with big brakes, great handling little car out of the box and his brake upgrade was fantastic. A kit he developed.

Also went passenger in Paul's R34....... my word............ GRIP! I know it's a tarmac rally car but seriously, the turn-in on that thing was off the charts! The amount of cornering speed it could carry was just ridiculous, and it still felt quite settled, definitely seemed like you could throw more at it depending on the size of ones balls :D - brakes were obviously fantastic as well, just an amazing package all round. Huge thanks for Paul for a passenger lap at the end of the day.

Happy with how my car went, even though i wasn't pushing it. I'd just putt putt around the corners and just mash it on the straights :D - for those wondering about front/back straight speeds (discussion in another thread) i was getting to around 240 before i chickened out to brake :D

Thanks to Aaron for tool borrowage as well :)

Not a problem at all Dan and great to get a chance to hang out.

Best for the day was a 1:24 so still a few seconds off 1:21pb but temps would have a bit to do with that - also growing back said knackers to carry more speed through turn 6! Was an awesome day great format, lots off fun tussling with the rexies, and that dinner afterwards was fantastic. Those wood fired pizza guys know how to roast a joint.

No worries man!

That race r32 shouldn't have been on the track imo

I hear that he had to keep his speed down a little because someone was dropping some pink transmission fluid onto the track...
