GTR Dump Pipes

have a R34 GTR fitted with a complete exhaust including the "Y" or engine pipe but stock dump pipes.

My question is do the aftermarket fabricated dumppipes (such as HKS etc)you can purchase replicate the factory cast dumps exactly? That is will they bolt straight in and attach to the exhaust I have without muffler shop mods to the engine pipe??

What is involved in fitting dumps to a GTR? Big job?? Should I wait and change the turbos at the same time??

hi andrew.......your dumps are cast?The ones i took off mine were original and thyey were fabricated type.....unless non vspec has cast dumps...not sure on that

Andrew - the hks dumps fit in the same so everything will bolt back together as normal.

My suggestion would be to wait till you do the turbos - would be a painful job otherwise & to be honest I don't think the gains would warrant the effort.
