Can I Please Have Some Advice On Fitment. R32 Gtr

Hi All,

I've got a r32 gtr on bbs rs wheels 17x9 +20 right now. Sitting on ku31 235/40/17 ( should be running 45 i know )

But 3 of 4 barrels have been previously banged up and i've cut my losses and i will be rebuilding them to a 17x9.5 +14 all round in january 2013... i was going to do 10s all round but i want to have it flush as rather then poking.

I'll attach a picture of the current setup.

I need help with Tyres .

I wanted to go a 265/40/17 all round but i've been told it will over hang and look shit?

on 18s they look good on 17s not so much..... Dno if thats the case thats why i need your help.

On RimTuck i found this image... http://www.rimtuck.com/photo/view/1229916571.jpg ( He is running 18x9.5 +13 with a 265/35/18 tyre all round... If the tyre will look like this ill do it forsure

a 40 profile tyre will look very similar to that...sidewall will be slightly taller....

Sweet! So you reckon 265s will look good and flush with the guard on a 9.5 +14 all round?

and not overhang.

i had 265/40r17 on 17x9+22 lmgt4, sat flush with the guards.

tyre was a dunlop direzza semi, a little squarer on the shoulder than some street tyres.

+1 on the dunlops, very sticky tyre.

I'm running 17x10 with 255/40/17 and in hindsight I would have gone a 265/40 to fill out the guards a little more
