I think its funny how people keep going on about being parked illegally. Surely you wouldnt be covered if they had to smash a window so they could put it into neutral, put the hand brake down and push it out of the way, but anything other than that, like smashing into you, you would be covered by their insurance, even if your car is uninsured, as they are at fault.

PS. not getting into the legalities of your car being unregistered as I have no idea how the rules apply then or if your car was even on a road when the incident happened. But if your car wasnt on the road, then its physical property damage covered by their public liability, road rules are irrelevant here. But then again, OP has failed to provide details about what actually happened so troll/argue away
