There's all sorts of repercussions for finding a way to pull this kinda thing off while managing to avoid insurance fraud lol, like neg driving for either party as an example.

Just find someone who has the "1 at-fault claim per year" allowance on their comprehensive insurance, then go have some fun playing demolition derby on a private property.

Another example

was cruising down the highway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast (Pacific highway?) and had this tard in his shit box Evo fly past me at least 160km/h. He then decided to slow right down and let me go past him. Then proceeded to fly past me at another rediculous speed (insert rolly eyed face here).. even the Mrs was shaking her head haha

Im thinking Bro, i have over 400rwkw, your gay little evo wouldnt last 3 fifths of a second before your eating unburnt fuel out of my exhaust :D

Nah Bro. Respect. That's Brian O'connor you are looking at. He has 16 gears you cannot win.

I daresay you could have smoked him if you wanted, but Evos can make some serious power as well. Granted they are few and far between that are putting out 400+kw.

Regardless, it doesn't explain why he was driving like a douche!

Why are you selling the 34 Richard?

Too many cars :( I have 4 and 1 or 2 have to go.

Other than the 32 I'm not fussed on what sell's the 34 GTT or the VTiR.

GF likes the Magna Sports lots  , so she drives it every day. (when she's not driving the VTiR)

They're all in great NiK.

+ Matt wants to sell his EVO VIII

(if you come up with the right price you can even have the 32)

I guarantee you it didn't have 400kw :P

Stupid evos and their million gears!!

Hey Joe - nowhere near it (200 to 250 appears the avg modded one)

But fark me they are on song from turning ignition on. If you havent tried one you should - lots of fun.

No where near able to stretch their legs like a 32 GTR on straighter faster roads.

Fair enough, would be a shame to see the 32 go though. Unless you replaced it with that red 32gtr from nz in the for sale section atm...

Your sons evo xiii is nice, I have always been a fan of them. I have actually been toying with the idea of selling the line and getting an evo ix

I'd consider it but wont get the money I want for it.

To get close I'd need to spend a few bucks and go a single.

Coz all the boyz will only come to the yard for BIG KW LAG Monsters (ie: 500awkws)

I may end up spending $5k and dropping a GCG T51R-SPL (Rated around 900hp)

Turbo is $3k then have to make some changes to bolt it on.

So I'd expect 500 to 550 @ treads

GT35R for around 400awkws

Hmm - come drive the EVO8 - lets see if you cahnge ur mind :)

You can have it for $26,500 on the Enkie's

I havent driven one but yea they are very punchy off the mark, thats those short ratios haha

your right they have no hope once on the longer stretches

but lets not turn this into a EVO vs GTR segment haha

Dont spose you would buy another of everything to put in my GTR Kat ?

* Will love you long time* :D

Edit: Ps. You shore you can't ditch what ever it is and come to Sydney on the 19th.

Actually our GTR's know the way to Silverwater by them selfs - LMFAO

Hah it's been tight enough times trying to do it all to my own car! This year I'm going to be doing a lot less to the car and doing a bit more in the holiday department!

LOL indeed my GTR knows it's way to Silverwater very very well! You know they've moved? Not far, still in similar area.

No can do. It's another vintage hair and makeup workshop and I'm really looking forward to it! Will take up the best part of the day.

Haven't been since they moved. Thank god I haven't had the need too (touch wood )

Been meaning to go up just to show Jim n Theo how it's progressed since the build.

They last saw it silver with all the goodies stolen :(

Will actually do that on the 19th!

    • Old Son, did you re-use the Holden ABS in the new shell or try a different module?
    • Yeah, nah. I had the actuator rod off it today. The arm will not move at all. Neither out, nor in. Yeah, you'd think so, but I've been thinking about that. Even when the actuator rod fell all the way off at the beginning of this saga, it would build more boost and faster in lower gears than it would in higher gears, and you'd think that that was the opposite of what should happen. But I strongly suspect that there is a thing with the gearing getting the revs to rise faster, that there must be some transient effect with the gas flow rate rising quickly, that you don't get with the more steady state case of the higher gears. Keep in mind - the gate is not shut in either of my weirdnesses. So things are not "normal". We normally think about a turbo spooling up (below the wastegate target) with the gate shut. I have all sorts of mental models running now where the gate is a little bit open, and having it stuck open allowing gas out while it should be going through the turbine has all sorts of weird effects (in these mental models). I'm thinking in the higher gears, the ex mani pressure builds to the point where enough gases spill out the wastegate to just prevent the pressure rising much more at all, or just creeping up, all the whole the revs are increasing and getting closer to the point where a gear shift becomes necessary.
    • Is it possibly wastegate actuator itself is sticking, or even the rod to flapper? Otherwise I reckon things are getting a bit rusty/worn   Also odd it won't boost in 3rd to 5th, but will in 1st, I'd expect the other way around with it slightly open as there's more time on your way to redline for it to spin up
    • Does anyone know ow what these two plugs are for and if they should be unplugged? Just put the dash back together and can't remember if these were plugged in before or unplugged! (Blue and white plugs) 🤦🏽‍♂️
    • Did some FASTing ...got the impression that the actual part# was a moot point ; seems all of these hardlines for coolant are discontinued/NLA... like, I take it you're after the hardline that bolts onto to the manifold...that's NLA according to amayama & nengun .... ...just to clear up some confusion, they typically mounted the AAC valve to the intake manifold somewhere near a coolant passage, so the body of the valve heats up & holds it open when engine's up to temp - no coolant flows through the valve, it's a mechanical, thermal connection.
