Do you guys have any idea where the best place to get these badges are?

Can anyone tell me the part numbers for a 1994 R32 GTR, rear boot GTR badge (paint code 326), the Rear boot Nissan badge and the front bonnet S badge?

Hi Guys,

Got my car back from my motor trimmers yesterday and I'm really pleased with the results.

Unfortunately the pics don't do the job justice but here's a few anyway.

The biggest job was to remove the front and back seats and re-dye the faded blued off section which was originally grey.

As we all know, this is a common problem with 32's.

In addition to this, both rear quarter trim pieces were replaced with new ones (also a common problem), a couple of interior tears were fixed as was a damaged drivers side bolster.

He also made up a driver's side mat to protect the new NISMO ones the previous owner bought.

I'm attending the Tech Day in Sydney today so if any Sydney siders attending would like a closer look, just give me a yell. :action-smiley-069::action-smiley-069::action-smiley-069:

Wow they did a great job Bob.

What is the business name of the motor trimmer if you don't mind me asking?

Talk to Bill......... The Owner.

Hi, I'm a new member here. I am in the progress of importing a r32 v spec ii. Car has been bought from the seller and is still in japan. My friend in japan helped find the car and negotiate a price.
Anways I have reread this whole thread about 3-4 times now. Im trying to discern the full detaisl of the car. I was a bit skypetical about it being a v spec ii
I dont know hot to read the build date but its a v spec ii. I was suprised to see a v spec ii i this colour code actually.. Which is what threw me off and made me uncertain. The only thing im not sure of is the Z before the AA in the model number, i believe that is code for a/c? Tho i was under the impression all v specs and v spec ii's had ac removed standard or was it available as an option. Can anyone provide some info if thats possible?
I will get some pics loaded up soon. Tho i am across the pond (great white north eh) so its a shame i wont be able to cruise with you guys and admire the great cars on here.
A last question, is the red one of the less common colours for an r 32 v spec ii?

VIN.jpg

Yeah, it's a V-Spec II (GTR with 17-Inch Wheels) and it's built at the Yokohama Nissan Factory.

V-Spec II's are built from 14th Feb 1994 on wards.

KBNR32RBFS8ZAA, The "8" Signifies it's a V-Spec II. Not too sure about the "Z"...

AH3 = Red Pearl Metallic was a V-Spec II option in the V-Spec II brochure.

A/C where removed from the R32 GTR N1 models for weight reduction.

thanks (OO)SKYLINE(OO). I used the 2 vin plate decoders posted on here i was just unsure of the Z. thanks so much again. I cant wait to get this girl home. Waiting on more pics to come from japan I didnt keep any from the seller. Will be a blast in the mounatins haha

also the build date, thanks for posting that as well!

Oh actually i had an important question, i guess itd hep more when i got pics u, but the car has i want to say recaro/nismo? seats. They were pretty mch like the black gtr seats with the red stitching on the sides, they didnt have the emblem i believe, but the center console also matched the seats and has the same black colour and also he red side stitching. I will get pics shortly but this has also been bugging me, does this mean im going to have to find some stock gtr seats?

All good!

Sounds like aftermarket seat trimmings but not till I see pics.

Depends if you like them or not...

anyone know if the v specs had optional seats or what you could order for seats from factory same as the trim for that console or is that a seperate package or from another car/aftermarket?

Don't think so, from what you are saying, sounds like they are just re-trimmed stock seats or aftermarket.

I'd say the console has been re-trimmed too.

    • That dirty voltage drop is the culprit I suspect
    • i cant get them all in 1 screenshot unfortunately as i just dont know how to move things around tbh, but they are all from the same log and the line crosses at the same point for all of them
    • It's about time I start work on my sun tan. So I knocked up a few parts that will all combine together to become my new power steering reservoir. Now just to produce an abundance of UV and IR rays while melting a heap of bits of alu to become one... Well, that's after I put one more hole in it for the return line to plumb to. It likely won't be this weekend, as Sunday I'm meant to be in doing some last minute stuff to the AMG race car, and the weekend after will be filled with non my Skyline stuff, followed by Bathurst 6 hour. So I don't expect to get to melt metal for at least 3 weeks.   I also managed to stuff up and start cutting the hole for the res to pump pipe on the wrong side of the line... It means instead of the lines being nice and tight against the inner guard, they'll be out off the guard.    The size of it means I should end up with about 1.8L of power steering fluid, and still have space for another half a litre before it reaches the overflow/breather. This is wayyyyyyy more capacity than factory, which should help keep Powersteer oil temps lower, and the design hopefully allows it to prevent any aerated oil being able to makes its way down to the bottom as it'll have a couple of baffles and some hopeful trickery to force air bubbles away from the bottom.
    • The log you did with ECU voltage, can you log the other things too like rpm and oil pressure? Need all that info together to compare easily
    • Editting as I hit post to soon, and this will lock out otherwise.
