Might want to be a bit more specific and maybe have some pics. Bottom line though, unless its close to completely stock, in original condition, with low k's and paperwork to back it up, you'd struggle getting any kind of a premium over a normal 32 GTR.

Where abouts on the block would it be? Yeah I had a guy a on here fast it for me. Vin numbers BNR32-100352

Its on the turbo side, somewhere near the front turbo. Take the under tray off and look from under the car. It will say 24U if it has an N1 block and 05U if it has a regular RB26. You'll see 05U on the head so do be confused by that.

If you look at the underside of the block forward of the front turbo, and it has "24U" embossed on it like Adam stated, it's an N1 block. Does it have this?

What does your paperwork say? Pics will be good. What tells you that your car is a "Nismo Edition"?

If Nismo had ownership of this car in Japan, they may have simply utilised a V-Spec N1 > and now you're checking this out.

Can you put up pics?

Do the Nismo editions have an N1 block?

Has anyone ever found a part number for an N1 block in the R32 GT-R fast system? My local dealer cant find it, said it began with the R33 series? However, there were specific parts for the turbo charger, oil and water pumps ect listed.

No matter what the car is a genuine Nismo with that chassis number, car number 352 to be exact!

I'm gunna jack it up this arvo and have a good look. And tomorrow I will upload photos :). Yeah she's definately a Nismo, I had someone on here fast it and a mate of mine who knows a shitload about GTR's checked it up for me too.

Nismo edition's Vin numbers start from Bnr32100000 - 1000560. I'm also pretty sure they came with a standard block, well mine did anyway.

I was thinking the same thing about 05U Block and the turbo's are Nismo items.

although it might be a nismo, it's been resprayed and unfortunately that defeats the purpose of owning one of these and may reduce the price significantly

They only ever came out in gunmetal grey, other than the body kit, the only other obvious tell-tale sign is the white vinyl sticker on the rear and the vin number,

it should also be missing a rear wiper blade assembly, abs should also be missing and in some cases, on the dash controls, the radio button should be missing too

Can anyone tell me what an R32 GTR Nismo Edition would be worth? Im looking to sell mine and when I bought it the bloke didn't know what he had so I was just looking at what they're really worth.

From my own extensive research over the years, the Nismo edition is worth slightly more than a standard R32 GTR but less than a Vspec 1 or 2, for a comparative condition car. That puts you roughly in the broad 10K-20K range, however it is only worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it- Originality is the key.

The Nismo spec version is not very highly regarded by collectors in Japan either, even though built in limited numbers, much less than Vspec 1 or 2's build numbers.

I wonder why that is? I always thought that it would be the other way around.

Hi mate I'm also thinking of selling my r32 gtr nismo edition bnr32100108, mine has had a full overhaul, and respray, personally I couldn't let mine go anything less than $30000 Shannon's valued at this and that's what it's insured for

You'd be flat pressed getting 30 grand for an R32 GTR that isn't mint (and I mean like brand new mint) or very cleanly highly modified.

I tried telling him that in his for sale thread.

And the fact its been resprayed = instantly devalued.

Could be a factory respray, which is really the same.

No, because even when using the factory colour, its easy to tell when a car has been respray. Use a paint thickness micrometer and it wont be the same consistency and thickness as the factory paintjob.

A car to command a premium must have the original paint/panels. People want a car that has a body that is as close to possible to when it rolled off the factory line.
