Rb20Det Code 34 Knock On Start Up

hi

i've got a rb20det and as soon as i crank it, it comes up with code 34 knock sensor after you crank

It. I've unplugged both and check the connections. They look ok. 

I've reset a number of times to make sure it clears and reads 55. Then I start it up. Let t run for a few mins. Switch it off and check codes again and get 34

What should I be looking at next

May need new knock sensors.

Get a multimeter and check continuity between the ecu plug and the knock sensor plug to make sure there is no broken/shorted wiring
