Yes mate, the only old bit now is the case, Award replaced all the shafts and gears and stuff, it was also modified internally to keep the oil from bring forced to the rear of the box which caused my problems of the gears not getting enough oil.

I'm in the process of giving it some love by cleaning the plugs and air filter, I'll swap out springs later as I need a large 90 deg straight edge to set cambers and I think I've lost mine somewhere.

Come on guys, get your cars out, lots of talk about big powered cars but not many are seen.

Broken cars or serious issues are fair enough, BUT, surely there not all broken.

Weather temps look good at this stage.

haha not yet trying to save some cash mate

had a boost leak when Yavuz put it on the dyno... bought a hard pipe kit and it pulls a lot harder now... keen to get it on the strip

not looking like I'll be able to leave work early though

      There's a thread over on PF.com where this has already been beaten to death. I make this point only because the report that you're referring to is already out of date. They have walked back some of the silliness, including the need to apply for (and risk losing the application fee, if not granted) a permit to work on your own car on your own land. But there is still a lot of silliness left remaining. Victoria is a f**king shithole. Has been since way before we started calling it Brackistan. f**king nimby woke Stalinist nightmare of a place.

      I’ll go last point, For me it’s, can I do better relying on the expertise of u experts in the field but my point was, is there a way and a will to sticky important tried/true/tested facts that come out of a question relating to each area of improvement. I mean like not losing valuable info when u end up relying on google without success. Some times. I just see so much knowledge being passed but unless u are a guru or lucky, the diamonds end up hidden in our forum sorry guys I’ll leave it at that respect

      I did a bit of googling, the color MCM used was Galaxy Grey from House of Kolor. This is actually a colour I picked out about ~10+ years ago (or more). This one is a stock BMW colour, I guess over the years I figured it was smart to get an OEM colour that was pretty common for all of those sensible reasons one can think of..
