Lost Key, No Spare!

Hello, I just recently lost my key and i do not have a spare, I'm driving a 1998 r34 coupe.

It doesn't help that I'm parked on the opposite side off the road, please I really need some help!

Smash the windscreen if you have that option on your insurance.

But seriously if the car really is yours and this isn't a thread fishing for ways to steal one call a locksmith, you will need a new key made or a full set of new barrels.

Lost it at a pizza shop down the road, was in the mrs car tho, I went back and they said noone dropped it in and can't find it in her car..

Would a locksmith be able to make a new key??

Can't say for sure, if you cant find one that can just buy a set of locks and key from someone wrecking a 34.

If you get the lock number off the lock and go to a decent locksmith, they should be able to cut you a key to suit your current locks

or better still take your chassis number to nissan and they can give you the key code then its five mins at the locksmith while he cuts you another one

I'm presuming the car is locked. So how do you get the numbers off the car if you can't open it?

I think this is a job for a locksmith to visit and fix. Or, if you have NRMA / RACV / etc, I think they can break into the car for you (using something less damaging than a brick ).

door lock cylinder is all that is required for a key.

That is possible IF the car is unlocked. . the way i have suggested removes the need for bricks or pulling off the door trim to get at the door lock
