so i just bought skyline gts rb20 about month ago.Car got avg body kit and the new seats been changed, from outside it looks all soild. Now i want some power so this guy said rb25t engine with r33 white car (maybe higher km). What we thinking of doing is putting changing engine and selling back the r33 white for good price.and between that it will cost me around $1000nz

What im trying to find out is does it really matter if engine done higher km cause my machin keep saying its the outside body effects more then engine.

Ok, so ignoring your poor English, i think i get what you're saying.

It can matter if the engine has higher mileage. It depends on whether it's had a hard life. Most people will usually be a bit reluctanct to buy a car with very high mileage, but if it's only a bit higher than normal it won't be much of an issue if it runs ok.

Having said all that, while it's good to have a car with a nice body, it's always good to have an engine in good condition. No point having a car that looks good if it runs like crap and breaks down a lot.

lol.. i was bit confused too..

my engine has close to 200 000km's and still very healthy, i agree with above, the engine is the heart of it , you dont want a slapped out motor.

I think you should listen to the motor stone cold, if its quiet then thats a start then do the usual comp test, visual inspections etc

I just rebuilt a 25 with 200,000k's on it(assuming the cluster was correct).

Was very clean inside but even still the valve guides were worn out of spec and the bearings weren't looking great. It probably would have been fine to run as is but just something to keep in mind, Even in good shape with higher K's internal parts will have more wear than an engine with lower K's.
