R32 Gts-4/gtr Cv Boots

i found the other day that my fron right cv boot has a small crack in the boot... now i have put more grease into the boot and taped it and cable tied it until the weekend... can someone tell me the process of getting the hub and rotor and all that off to get to the cv's??? also does it really matter is i just get a universal boot instead of finding the one that came on the car??? cos i can get them for like $13.00 each

any help would be great.

Three of mine cracked at the front of my 32 GTR, replaced all four with universal ones from repco. No problem

how hard is it to change them?

I didn't do them myself, but from what I was told its not too difficult. Take wheels off car, then brakes discs, then the BIG hub bolt in the middle of the disc im guessing. Can't help too much sorry as its one thing I didnt actually do myself.
