I agree, I have been searching for used gear... But to start off I'll be getting into the bracing side of things first then do springs/shocks or coilovers. I don't want the car any lower as it's a pain to park it as it is and I'm teaching my gf how to drive.

Soon will be winning soon.

Got a double din fasica and an NSA04 I bought these a month ago, before I decided to spend money elsewhere :D.

My rear wiper arm arrived aswell.

is that brand new from nissan? if so....does it cost much? as opposed to buying parts second hand from people.

This post interests me.

SHOTGUN!! xD

It was $55 from col crawford. I was quoted up to $75 from wreckers, ofcourse that would have most likely included the wiper part aswell. Yes it is brand new.

I always check with the dealer first before I get quotes from wreckers. Also, I was quoted $52 ex for the front seal in the rear diff. Go figure...

I'm not having much luck with keeping this car in shape, interior parts are breaking for me :(

Last night I broke one of the cargo net brackets, I still have to get the crack in the dash fixed -.-

so I was on epcdata last night going crazy looking for the handle to release the storage door cause it came with a big scratch. I also found out that the AXIS S definitely has different suspension on paper because I found the part numbers and they are different to stock part numbers, all I need to do is check out the shocks to find a PN on them.

When I spoke to Alex he pointed something out about my headlights appears they have been darkened by Autech. Which I also noticed in some auction pictures after he mentioned it. I hope I'm never in an accident, I'll cry.

So I'm ganna order my replacement brackets and handles hopefully from Nissan.

I've also purchased a plenum spacer.

Where did you get the double din fascia from? I have seen a few variations and people saying the AC button quality is not as good as what they pulled out. How do you find that one in comparison?

I got it from perry infiniti on ebay, well it has all the oem stickers on it.. If you wanted to I guess you could move the old buttons across. Apparently there are two different double din fascia's nav and non nav, the nav one is a bit longer I think.

I haven't installed it yet, the colour seems to be a bit duller than the one I currently have, doesn't really bother me as long the buttons function as buttons then I'm happy.

Yups, done that. Dog broke one of mine.

What did you get?

I got a BLOX racing spacer for $140 shipped. I've read forums from the states that say they haven't had issues. When installing this do you need to drain the coolant??

Ok, so I've installed my deck and the other bits to get it working. This deck is temporary until I find something I like and the pock I put in was from when I did a din conversion in my pulsar, fit perfect.

The only issue I have was I had no idea that the NSA04 unit didn't route audio from the TV, so I'm either going to make a cable from the 9 pin din to RCA then to 3.5mm stereo (reason for that is for future install of double din head unit with audio and video input) or run RCA's to 3.5mm to aux to the front, still haven't decided.

Also installed telly.

I didn't get a chance to install the BLOX spacer, will hopefully do it in march.

Orite

Thanks to Alex the plenum spacer is in. Great results,I kinda feel bottom and mid-range has slight improvements and induction noise because drift.

So in April hopefully I'll have caster bushes, front and rear swaybars with the front brace and the R34 brakes and rotors installed with the scratched up V35 wheels all installed by Jetwreck (U the best) :D Swaybars and brace will supplied by Daleo (Cheers, U also the best).

Oh also went to a place that had lots and lots of Nismo stickers and Nissan :woot::woot: . Got Nismo?? Good times.
Big thanks to Alex for today.

Hells yeah should call your garage the PNM35 Garage of Schooling.

Also worked out my fuel consumption. 13.63L/100KM. Just filled up 48L got 352KM reason why I filled up is because my fuel gauge is way out and said I was at 3/4 of a tank. If I can be bothered I'll have a guise for the float thing that Alex told me about.

Soooo front and rear swaybars are installed, along with the caster bushes. I forgot to get pics :(. But if you can imagine what swaybars would look like on a stag, that's how mine looks :P

Heaps less roll. Doesn't feel like a tonne of weight is transferred anymore when going around a corner, tyres scream when going round round abouts :D.
Thanks heaps Craig. You the best. Did I mention full hard? Coz racecar. Even though the day was full of PNM35 bashing I still had fun :P.

I won a set of Bilstein shocks and they hopefully will come with a rear brace :D. Still thinking if I should try with stock springs or go with Nismo springs.

Craig also found something interesting while under my car. First thing he said "I wonder if I can take it and put it on my car." lol.

Craig thought it would be to do with lights. I mentioned that I've seen my headlights move up and down while stopped in traffic.

I've done research and came up with bugger all, But after a google search it came with 'Control headlight aiming', So I'm going to assume some sort of headlight level correction thingo.

Should have tested it while it was up.

    • Um. No. Since Matt introduced the TIM it has become a lot easier to deal with the consequences of changing K for AFM and injector swaps. Then, tuning is a f**king doddle. No-one needs to know or care how many grams of air are flowing or any other bullshit. Need more fuel in a cell? Add more fuel. Need more timing in a cell. Add more timing. Need to adjust any of the other tables for warm up and so on? No harder than anything else. Sure - it's not an ECU system for starting from scratch on an arbitrary engine. But then.....it was never supposed to be, not recommended for, and almost never used that way. So.... On your engine, in particular, Nistune/Nissan OEM is about as sophisticated and difficult as banging 2 rocks together. Those ECUs are primitive and simple. There is nothing difficult there. I learnt Nistune from scratch, created new maps with extended axes, interpolated/extrapolated the original maps onto them and tuned my RB20 (basically the same ECU as your 26 ECU) all by myself, more than 20 years ago. And that was long before even TIM.
    • Set of knee pads for a R34. Will fit every model I think. Comes with everything except the rubber covers for the bolt holes. Still in great condition. You will need to drill holes to mount these or use double sided tape. I can do free shipping and will be shipping from the Netherlands with tracking.
    • Nistune needs something like an entire excel spreadsheet in which you build an abstraction layer that converts everything from real units you can actually measure into all of the various tables. The number of unexpected dependencies hiding in how the Nissan ECUs do math is a pretty impressive optimization trick for 8-bit MCUs but good god is it awful to actually work with in practice.
