Actually apart from the SS stuff they build, they also got both td05 and td06 with billet wheels. Performance wise its hard to say as most of the HG stuff are resulted based on stock manifold and int gate, their recent external gated test appears to be impressive.

like i said im pretty green, how do external waste gates change performance from the norm

External gates seal better allowing higher and more stable boost, they also flow much better allowing more exhaust and hence power. Just plumb it back into the exhaust, please.

Easy to bump up the spring pressure also, which means no need for a controller.
