zymotic
My 25t seems to be having probs under boost. Under light boost I don't seem to notice anything. Under load it feels like a blocked carby. I think this may be due to my turbosmart bleed valve. I have searched and people talk about violent jerks, mines not that but it definately stutters under load. Are these bleed valves fine when properly installed or is this just the trade off in being an el cheapo mexican and buying a turbosmart bleed valve? Would a GFB bleed valve do the same thing assuming the rest of the setup, hoses etc are ok? If not how much is an EBC and whats the best? I am thinking of getting a PowerFC in the future should i just hold off and buy the boost cont that comes with that. Any trouble shooting tips I could use to stop the stutter? Or is this a turbosmart curse? Advice please PS did search but didn't find exactly what I'm after. PPS only mods are below rest car is stock Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/41735-is-it-spiking/ Share on other sites
PTR33
All I have in mine is pull the hoses off the solenoid an replace it with a piece of aluminium pipe with a 7/64 hole through it. Took a little trial and error to get the hole size I needed. ROCK SOLID 10PSI with less than 1PSI spike occasionally. That little bit of pipe was a lot cheaper than any bleed valve and is the ultimate stealth installation.
