Do ceva have a height limit on how low a car can be? Looking at shipping a car from perth to melb and all the companies I've found so far all say the cars have to be above 140mm.

Nope, i remember seeing an SLS AMG that got sent through them and they are effing low, they just add ramps, and make sure you get heaps of pics before they load the car up so you know if(unlikely) any damage is made

there are different options.

if you go for standered transport then the requirement is for the cars lowest point to be 140mm.

if you go for the race and prestige option then no height requirement cause as juliette mentioned they use hydrolyic lifts etc but you do pay through the arse for that.

well if your determined to get a tow truck

most of the members here use:

Jack from Citywide towing.. 0419 877 437

He has been a long term member owning a bunch of imports and knows how to look after them.

that said don't get a shock when he quotes.

this will be thousands, remember it's at least 2 days prob 3 days of just driving, fuel, food and the rest.

remember he looks after us so you best be nice as well. (plus he big and scary..just kidding jack)

actually I could be wrong, if you found one that had a one way trip the other direction then that would be very fair.

else

melb - syd 10-12 hours driving.

add in 1-2 hours on each end for load/unload.

looking 22-30 hours non stop

800$ = noway I would do that.
