Greetings.

Today I've been noticing alot of Adverts poping up if you wave the cursor over Underlined Text.

Maybe only on certain keywords? Sort of a bit like links but you don't have to click it for it to come up.

For example : in the thread below, the words "bonus" and "an email" do it.

http://www.skylinesa...04#entry6701804

Edit* "an email" stopped doing it and now "financial year" does it.

Edit** "financial year" just stopped doing it!!! :/

Just wondering if it's a new thing or is it a Bug / Hack...

Cheers.

Rob.

Ah Rob, doesnt happen at all to me. None of the 3 words you mention or the ones that are purposely links do it.

I'm using IE9 on default settings.

What browser, version and settings are you running mate ?

Edit: and what's your OS ?

Yeah it's weird, the words chop and change. They are underlined like a link when it happens.

I've even noticed it on some other words on any page as in, "members" in the bottom left of screen next to guests and anonymous users, was doing it for a while.

I'm running Windows XP Pro and IE8. I just reset the default settings on IE8, see if it changes anything.

How the f**k do you use IE9? Im surprised your PC has not imploded. OH GOD AND ROB USES IE8 OHGODODODODODODODOD. DOWNLOAD GOOGLE CHROME NOW

It'll be a local issue, you've installed an add-on or something that is causing it.

No issues here, and it's not something SAU is employing far as i know (the sponsored word ads etc).

Change browser, if the problem goes away then 100% your end :)

I reset IE defaults and ran my old Pal Malwarebytes. It hasn't happened again yet...

I didn't actually notice if there was a timeframe before it happened. Nice to Know it can happen to others though.

Yeah, just had a little look. Seems as though there is supposed to be a link below the members names with a 'View all birthdays' text which is just not displaying for some reason.

If you view the source of the page, you can see the link.

Will try to sort it out tonight.

Don't Spose there is any progress on the "View all Birthdays" thing yet Christian?

(My Birthday again today... Not Feelin' the SAU Love.) :( I guess I'm just not Random enough to make the front page.

    • Connected to plenum towards the rear end. Yes, absolutely required for the ECU. Even Nistune can't save you if you don't have it.
    • Can confirm solenoid makes no difference. I finally removed the solenoid and the wire off my engine loom and there is no issue with boost. Keep in mind, this is the solenoid, and I've got a Nistune. After the boost controller, I ran the car for a day with the solenoid unplugged - no issue. So then I just ripped the whole thing out. Like @GTSBoy mentioned before, the ECU just sends an earth signal for the 2-stage boost. And looking at the wire going into the solenoid, that just had 2 standard wires and did not look important 🤣 As for boost sensor: I saw somewhere that the vacuum line the gauge uses is at the back of the engine on the driver side. I never touched that but assume ECU uses that??? (maybe? Just assuming)

    • Im also amazed how well Attessa holds up to all of the abuse. Especially with the burnouts and crap you guys used to do at Texi!
    • True! I think I'm closer to 06 with the cameras in phones being out there more. And the nearly impossible to use internet web browsers. Or paying for ring tones... Man I hated when we couldn't just compose a ringtone on a Nokia anymore! These days I just hate it if my phone rings, beeps, boops, or vibrates!
