I've got a set of 555cc injectors for sale if 32gtr ones fit the 33 rail? Can anyone confirm this?

gtr injectors are topfeed, he would be after sidefeed, unless he converts the rail to topfeed,

Options? Buy my car, strip all the go-fast bits off it and transplant them to yours, then sell everything you don't want from what's left and save a f**kLOAD of cash.

Do it.

Haha, it's called a project for a reason but thanks anyway

So many decisions to think about, Motor is healthy had an easy life and compression test was really good.

Anyone bought/used or know of someone with this setup?

Decent price, just some info would as i don't know anyone with this.

laggy not to mention it's a yum cha turbo.. plus stainless manifold, asking for cracks

I wouldn't use that turbo / wastegate / manifold if I was given it for free. Last thing you want is to scrap a healthy motor because you ate an impeller from your Jackie chan turbo.

300kw on budget =

Std intake & exh manifolds

std cams

Fmic

3" exh

Z32 afm

3076 turbo internal gate with good ebc.

E85 with 1000cc injectors + walbro 400lph pump

Then what ever ecu your tuner preferres.

even more super budget:

Std intake & exh manifolds

std cams

Fmic

3" exh

Z32 afm No AFM, find an ECU that uses a MAP sensor

3076 turbo internal gate with good ebc. Hypergear Turbo with Gate Pressure

E85 with 1000cc injectors + walbro 400lph pump

Then what ever ecu your tuner preferres.

I dont have a cheap ass budget, Its going to be build by the end of the year, I could be buying a 3076 garret just waiting. As for e85 is it worth it? can't i get the ECU setup to have 98&85?

I want a half decent setup for 300rwkw, If i go the Z32 afm that will allow more air correct? I've got a Greddy front facing plenum already.

Get rid of afm all together

Go flex fuel setup

With 3076

1000cc injectors

Do it once do it right

Then save up for the eventual rebiild or engine replacemet cause the power wont scare you for long and the 3076 can squeeze out a tad more than 300rwkw

Considering both ethanol production plants are in Queensland you should be able to source some e100. :)

Otherwise, look up Caltex or United's websites and see what pumps are close by. I would have done it for you if you had your location. United are selling e85 for 25cL less than unleaded. It works out about the same cost per Km as 98 from my experience.

Couldn't i get the ECU to have like 2 maps ( forgive me not very good with terminology of ECUs ) so i could have 1 for E85 and 1 for 98? I won't be daily driving it, once a week i reckon but wouldn't it be best to have the options?

I can get it from Capalaba apprently, and i live close by so sounds good to me lol!

Once you go e85 you won't go back.

I have been using it for 4 years now, and I just take jerries on long drives. There are plenty of e85 threads on here if you want some more info. Best mod you can do, by just changing servos...

You will need a decent ecu to run flex fuel (any percentage of ethanol) otherwise you will have to drain your tank to swap. Do some research as you are stuck with it once you decide on an ecu, make sure it will do what you need it to.

the one your thinking of is just near the gateway on kessels rd, theres three others which are at springfield lakes, coomera and marsden, cheapest has been $1.06/L but usually around $1.20 which is like 45cents cheaper than pulp..

Also dont get in a habbit of running on the empty line, just incase the pump is out of order, thats happened to me a couple of times lol.

I dont have any fancy ECU, mines just a power FC thats tuned very safely to allow for variations , and so far theres been nothing significant because my knock levels never exceed low 20's on the power fc. :)

Just get a adaptronic ecu, thats what i have, it can run both fuels, u just need a sensor or a 'sniffer' as they are called and u can fill up with either fuel, best of both worlds if there is no e85 on pump at the servo.

    • Yep, that was one of the things we learned fast in the past with our MX5. When you drive with the top down, you are effectively standing out in the sun, 100% of the time, and not getting in any shade (because roads aren't shaded generally!). Just like standing out in the middle of a field on a sunny 27C day is a bit of a bad plan, so is sitting in a MX5 without sun protection.
    • I also just ordered some Frankenstein bolts and side mounts to fit a hard top Just in case I do find one, basically so it doesn't need to be fixed to the car with only the front latch.......and then gaffa tape to keep it in place for the RTN journey from wherever I get it
    • If your temps are fine now, you probably won't have any issues with where your vents are as they don't look right up at the windscreens high pressure area, so any differences when giving it the beans for extended happy laps would be minimal, but, they should vent heaps when stuck in traffic  Much like how that reverse cowl on my SS let "visible" heat out when stationary, but, because it was basically at the windscreen my coolant temps on the Hwy actually raised because air was being fed into it at speed (110kph), to only come back down to around 90° when I got off the Hwy And your 100% correct about the NC currently not needing vents, but, if I was to add a turbo, and a oil cooler and intercooler in front of the condenserand radiator, and then take it to the track???? It is apparently a recommend requirement if I don't want to worry about coolant or oil temp issues, but, any of the above are possible scenarios, over time As it sits now, with the triple pass radiator and stock air conditioning system, I have absolutely no issues with either temps or air conditioning efficiency, I've been basically daily driving thie car for the last month, both on the Hwy, and peak hour, bumper to bumper traffic, but, that's pretty much expected from basically a standard engine  Talking about no issues daily driving, it was 39° the other day and I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on the M5 and then M7, with the top down, and with the air conditioning blowing nice cold air on my feet, balls, and face, well, there was one issue, my head and arms got pretty sun burnt Note to self: leave a hat and sunscreen in the car for such days 🤣
    • I would agree, unless you need something specific to the HV motor/battery side repaired or investigated, any mechanic will be able to perform normal services, but if you prefer, maybe look for a mechanic who regularly services/repairs Nissans, the VQ engines are pretty common in the Nissan lineup.  Sorry, I can't make any suggestions, I don't live in Vic.
    • Some of them keep working fine. 9 out of 10 of them end up causing an absolute misery bleeding the system and get thrown on the workshop floor in a tantrum and never thought about again because they were never really needed and just added crap to the car that we could have done without. Same-same with HICAS, A-LSD, and various other stupidities that over eager 10x engineers thought we had to have.
