A true twin scroll manifold runs twin gates. But it's also possible to position a big single between the twin scroll flange which works the same. Some please correct me if I'm wrong.

Two paths for exhaust gases through the twin scroll turbine housing requires two gates if you want to maintain completely separate paths to the exhaust of the front three cylinders from the rear three cylinders.

My setup has one gate, I haven't seen any results for the single gate TS on a rb25, so mine will be of interest for a comparison. I hope a single 44mm tail will be enough, will be trying it anyway.

44 should be ok, i had TS manifold with a tial 38, was fine at 21psi 340rwkw

wow, that sounds awesome.. was there a splitter right upto the gate? when was full boost?
