i dont want bolt on hub adaptors

http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/167822-warning-aluminium-wheel-spacers.html

but id like the maximum spacer that can still provide enough thread for safety reasons. a friend said 10mm is too much, what you recon is max

before i new much about offsets and sizes everyone said 10.5 +15 was max for gtr

=weak!

ive researched threads. there all about standard wheels etc.

also. im talking about spacers (that go on original thread)

the ones where you bolt to your threads and provides a new thread is called hub adaptors. seriously how do people call them the same thing there far from it

oo interesting.. thanks for the info mate.

only reason im wanting this is my mate in s15 has some serious stance with work meisters and it makes my wheels look like there hiding from society lol

id like to just to have a bit more stance. as the rears camber it sits well inside the guard. if it was allowed to do different offset id even put 15mm hub adaptor on back

You want to run flush or poke fitment?

I remember seeing your GTR and I think a slip on would do you just fine, just to fill it out flush.

Come to this months SAU Monthly GC meet and I will show you the slip on spacers.

Rolling diameter needs to be the same.

People have different preferences on how they want the car to sit.

Front slightly more offset than the rear even.

Yes, that's right!

Due to GTR's being 4WD need to have the same rolling diametre all round (hence the same wheel width) or your tyres will be staggered and then you start stressing the Centre Transfer Case (from memory).

What's your mate running on the S15?

Properly made bolt on spacers are the ONLY safe way to do it.

That link is just a case of someone buying some cheap china shit off ebay and getting caught out. No point getting caught up in the paranoia because of one tightass

I ran bolt on spacers on my GTR for 6 months, prior owner for 4 years - track driven regularly.

i called OTR they use concave concept. there black and they look beef!! but approx 75 each adaptor.

well i looked at my car the back might need to be lipped which i dont really want to do. the front wouldnt fit 15mm, 5mm would probably be max on the front but as the back cambers id go 15mm for sure

which makes my next question..

has anyone run a 18x10.5 + 0 on the back ? with or without lipping guards

my mate got his guards lipped and slightly flared, 18inch meisters x10 on back +18 i think, with camber. absolutely insane oh my

youse have to see stance to appreciate it photos dont do justice

yeh your exactly right. talking to OTR the concept are fully engineered, not the crap from ebay thats dirt cheap. i wouldnt sacrafice my safety for saving money especially on moving objects
