Nismo Mfd Install

Just wondering if anyone has installed the nismo upgrade version to their 34 R, as ive read in other forums that nismo recommend it be installed with the stock ecu in vechicle. So has anyone installed with an aftermarket ecu in their car with success.

Yeah I installed mine, and running a haltech, the only thing that doesn't work properly is the boost gauge.

My car came with the nismo Mfd from factory and I have just changed the orig ecu to a power fc ,does this affect anything on my screen or is it only on a install afterwards that this happens,

Yeah ok , that was the main reason I wanted to upgrade larger boost scale of 2 bar. I'm in the process of installing autronic sm4 bye bye pfc.

Did you install the high precision boost sensor which is supplied? Maybe why no workie.

EM1 I would say yours will be fine, coz as you wrote nismo version was installed with stock ecu.

If the autronic is the same as vipec board wise, expect the TPS to be wrong and injector duty not to work.
