I've just got my hands on a hi flow rb25 that was rated for 1.2/1.3bar apparently on a rb25.

I want to put it on my rb20, with the 500cc less displacement, does that mean that I could run more boost to match the cfm it would've put out on the rb25? or have i got my theory wrong?

Thats not exactly how it works.

Boost that it will run is an indication of the motor and compressors efficiency. That being said you will actually not know how much boost it needs until you tune it.

Once its on the dyno getting tuned the point where it starts to ping or stops making power will be where you stop. Dont worry about what it needed on someone elses motor etc either, as it may want to run a different amount of boost on yours.

So go get it tuned and let them boost it to the right level on their own.
