Hey people

I have a manual R33 non-facelift RB20E Coupe that I have used as my daily driver for the last few years - even in this underpowered forum its still a bunch of fun to thrash and its not too hard on the gas either, at least compared to my weekend car which is a Rev D E-Tune Legacy which opens a little valve under the gas tank when I drop my foot.

To make it a little more exciting on the way to work etc with the R33 coupes big bum I wanted to increase the power without going turbo, preferably by adding some torque into the equation.

So my question - is there anything major I need to do to drop an RB30E in? Or can I literally swap the two without modifying anything. And the second question is, how much of a mission is it to drop a 25DE head on an RB30 - will I run into ECU issues and need different headers etc?

Failing that I could look at putting a standard RB25DE in there - but from what I understand I may need to change the ECU etc anyway so I may as well go RB30DE

Cheers, and please excuse the 'sign up and ask a question' first thread : D

legalitys aside an r32 rb25de head onto a rb30 bottom end is pretty easy, been done a heap of times, use a nistuned rb ecu to run it
