Enquiry And Opinions In Regards To Wrecking Skylines

As the title suggests I am considering parting out and wrecking my current skyline due to a lack of interest and the inability to get a good price on the sale as a complete item. I know each case will vary depending on the type of parts and quality but I am interested to hear from anybody who has done this and any tips and advice people have. Also keen to know how much money people have made and whether it is/was worth the time and effort? I dont want to have to pull my pride and joy apart considering I have been building her for over 6 years but it seems that this is the only way I can see myself making more money than the offers I recieved and what I know she's worth! Opinions and advice please

Hey dude very nice ride, It would be a real shame to see it parted out although there is not doubt you'd get money more in parts, although it may take 6 months to a year to sell everything...

Have you tried advertising it on carsales or ebay? quite often you will get a more serious cash buyer through those avenues rather than forums...

Thanks for ur response. Yeah tryed those avenues but still no luck and I would not part with it for less than 10k so I rekon I can get more than that in parts. Also tired of being screwed around. I think selling parts would be alot easier than selling a car in the current economic climate. Been building it for 6+ years so another 6-12 months wont hurt. Well I shall see what other people have to say and will make a decision.
